Yes. Artificial grass is ideal for replacing real grass that has been damaged by household pets. The grass will not be discoloured by dog mess and can be easily cleaned using a light detergent.

Stubborn marks can be wiped clean with the use of hot water and a light detergent (washing up liquid).

It is recommended that you keep barbeques away from artificial grass to avoid damage. A slabbing can be installed to solve this issue. Please ask us to include this in our quote for you.

SGS Grass is soft and yet durable allowing kids to continue to play on the grass. Synthetic grass also mean minimal mud – so no more wiping up muddy footprints!

Yes. SGS artificial grass can be laid on a slope as long as the gradient allows for all ground works to be completed.

SGS grass products drain via perforations in the latex/polypropylene backing of the product. This is supplemented by the sub-base of type 1 stone and sharp sand which provides an efficient drainage solution.

Artificial grass needs minimal maintenance compared to real grass. SGS recommend brushing the grass every 1 -2 years to ensure the grasses longevity. Please contact us to enquire.

SGS recommend regular brushing of your surface (approximately once every 2 weeks). We would also recommend our maintenance package. For more information, please contact us and a member of our team will be happy to assist you.

Different types of synthetic surfaces require different types of footwear. We recommend that on 3G (sand and rubber infilled pitches) users wear plastic studded footwear only – no dimpled, bladed or flat soled shoes.

On 2G pitches (sand infill only) users should use dimpled or flat soled shoes. No studs or blades.

Yes, our synthetic surfaces come with a warranty however this is dependant on the type and usage of the surface. We pride ourselves in providing quality products along with a quality service.

The length of warranty should be provided to clients upon the quotation stage

SGS Rejuvenation is a specially developed process using specialised machines to extract the dirty and contaminated sand and/or rubber from your pitch and replace with new clean sand and/or rubber.
